Supporting education, civic activities and the arts is part of who we are. Our community programs help enliven learning and living experiences with ideas, encouragement and funding. Whether it's planting trees, teaching students about technology or supporting programs that help make the world a better place, we're working with communities to break down barriers and create opportunities across the globe.

Arts Integration

Art opens doors to learning. Through our Arts Integration Project in Austin, Texas, visiting artists teach elementary teachers on how to use the arts to enhance core curriculum such as math, science, reading, and social studies.

Corporate Philanthropy Awards

San Francisco Business Times magazine named Applied Materials the tenth Top Corporate Philanthropist in the Greater Bay Area. All companies were required to provide detailed documentation showing the name, location, amount and date of each cash contribution paid to Bay Area-based organizations. In-kind donations, which are non-cash, tax deductible gifts or products or services were not considered in the ranking.
